N T Surveying Limited was formed in 2019 with the intention of providing a high quality, bespoke Quantity Surveying service focusing primarily on historic building work, high end residential schemes and all things in between.
We are a small practice based in Salisbury, Wiltshire led by director Nick Tarrier MRICS IHBC.

MEET THE TEAM
Nick Tarrier
Director
​
Nick has worked in the construction industry for over 25 years. Following his degree in Building Conservation, he started his career working as a Quantity Surveyor for building conservation company Rattee & Kett on projects such as Ely Cathedral, Hampton Court Palace and multiple Cambridge Colleges. Following this, he moved into cost consultancy where he has worked as a director running projects for Christ Church Cathedral, the Royal Household, the National Trust and numerous private clients. Nick is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and a full member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation.

Whilst developing his career in private practice, Nick has also gained vast experience working in the high-end residential sector over the last 20 years, completing numerous projects large and small including Flint House on the Waddesdon Estate (RIBA house of the year winner 2015).
​
Since establishing N T Surveying Ltd, Nick has worked on projects for Oxford colleges, numerous ecclesiastical schemes, historic and listed buildings together with private clients on a variety of high end residential schemes. Nick has also developed a keen interest regarding sustainability in building projects and retrofitting solutions within historic and existing buildings.
​
Outside work Nick is a keen photographer, plays guitar and likes to ride his motorcycles when time and weather permit!
Sarah Bloss
Practice Manager
Sarah is a multi-talented lady who combines a number of roles - Practice Manager, Director’s PA and Assistant Quantity Surveyor. She has 10 years experience of working in the property sector including roles with Quantity Surveying practices, Estate Agents and Architects' practices.
Sarah’s role includes client liaison, managing all office administration and assisting the team with Quantity Surveying tasks on a variety of high end residential projects. Since joining N T Surveying Ltd she has completed a RICS Foundation Course in Quantity Surveying.
Outside work Sarah enjoys yoga classes, motor sport and spending time socialising with her family and friends.
Ross Minhinnick
Associate
Ross is an Associate Member of the RICS. Ross has over 15 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor, working locally within the private and public sectors. Ross has experience working with both Traditional and Design and Build contracts up to a value of £32m. He has worked on numerous one-off bespoke projects within a wide range of sectors.

Key skills include measurement, cost control, contract administration and managing relationships within the construction team.
​
Since joining N T Surveying Ross has worked on a number of high end residential projects.
​
Outside work in the rare, spare moments in between family commitments, he enjoys fishing and watching rugby.
Dami Oyinlola
Senior Quantity Surveyor

Dami is a Senior QS with diverse experience in many sectors of the industry. A key member of staff, Dami has an exacting approach to his input and is meticulous with all technical project aspects
Jennifer Marsh
Senior Quantity Surveyor
​
Jennifer is an Associate member of the RICS and has over 15 years experience of working in the Construction industry including 12 years of working as a Quantity Surveyor in various settings. Previous projects worked on include numerous historic buildings (houses, ecclesiastical, heritage sites), high-end residential projects (varying in value from £500k to £10M+), MOD facilities as well as commercial schemes. She studied a MSc in Quantity Surveying at the University of Portsmouth and has recently completed a CIOB course in Understanding Building Conservation.
When not working Jennifer enjoys watching live music, photography and walking.
Hui Meng Jee
Quantity Surveyor
Hui Meng has over 15 years of experience in this role. She studied Quantity Surveying at the University of Greenwich and since she graduated has gained experience of working on numerous high end residential projects and historic building works including Flint House and other projects at the Waddesdon Estate.
More recently at N T Surveying, Hui Meng has worked on projects such as refurbishment of a high end residential property in London costing £7m. The key skills Hui Meng brings to the team include bill measurement and a strong ability to negotiate with contractors.
When she is not Quantity Surveying Hui Meng likes to travel to new places, play badminton and loves shopping especially where antiques are involved.

Scott Riddick
Quantity Surveyor
​
Scott is a Member of the RICS and completed his Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying Degree at the University of the West of England in 2022. Scott also completed an HNC in Quantity Surveying and the Built Environment at Solent University in 2019.
​
This is his second role in the Construction Industry having previously worked for Aspire Defence Capital Works on MOD projects.
Since joining N T Surveying, Scott has progressed from providing assistance to more senior members of the team to taking a lead role in a variety of Quantity Surveying tasks both pre and post contract.
​
Outside work, Scott enjoys playing various sports but mainly golf, where he is a member at Rushmore Golf Club in Tollard Royal. Scott also supports Southampton Football Club and tries to attend the matches at St Mary's regularly.

Will Futcher
Intermediate Quantity Surveyor
Will joined the NTS team as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor and has completed his MSc in Quantity Surveying after previously obtaining a first-class honours in his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance. He has entered the construction industry through family links, after growing up around a family construction business, decided to make the switch to Quantity Surveying While completing his Masters Will has been involved in a variety of projects in the sphere of restoration and refurbishment. These projects include listed residential, commercial and ecclesiastical buildings with varying levels of restoration and repair works.
Will is now working towards chartership within the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors while working as an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor for N T Surveying Ltd., where he continues to work on various projects from feasibility to final account stages.
When not in the office Will enjoys cycling and strength training in the gym.

Lauryn Taylor
Apprentice Quantity Surveyor
​
Lauryn is an apprentice quantity surveyor, currently studying at the University of Portsmouth. She has a real appreciation for heritage buildings and is excited to work on preserving and restoring them. Outside of work, you’ll find her skiing, cooking, or travelling.
Nancy Ng
Quantity Surveyor

Nancy is a Quantity Surveyor with many years of experience in traditional project works and is currently assisting with pre-contract QS work.

Mike Coen
Senior Quantity Surveyor

Mike is a Chartered Member of the RICS. Mike works part time on final accounts.
